MANASSAS, Va. -- Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems has been awarded an $80,240,289 fixed-price-incentive, firm-fixed-price, and cost-only modification to previously awarded contract N0002418C5218, from the United States Navy, for the delivery of Technical Insertion-20 (TI-20) SQQ-89A(V)15 Surface Ship Undersea Warfare Combat System and SQS-53C sonar transmitter infrastructure shipset hardware.
This contract combines purchases for the U.S. government (94%) and the Commonwealth of Australia (6%) under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program. Work will be performed in Lemont Furnace, Pennsylvania (56%); Clearwater, Florida (22%); Syracuse, New York (17%); Owego, New York (3%); and Manassas, Virginia (2%), and is expected to be completed by June 2026.
Fiscal 2021 other procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $45,582,203 (57%); fiscal 2021 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funds in the amount of $26,196,362 (32%); FMS Australia funds in the amount of $4,504,123 (6%); and fiscal 2020 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funds in the amount of $3,957,601 (5%) will be obligated at time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
