U.S. NAVY ORDERS 50 ADDITIONAL DTP-N KITS FOR NETWORKED TARGETING CAPABILITY IN F-18S
PATUXENT RIVER, Md. -- The U.S. Navy awarded the Boeing Co. of St. Louis, Missouri, a $33.9 million firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee modification (P00005) to a previously awarded contract (N00019-21-C-0001) for the Distributed Targeting Processor - Networked (DTP-N) program in support of F/A-18E/F and EA-18G aircraft.
The modification exercises an option for procurement of 50 DTP-N B-kits, 50 DTP-N A1-kits, and 25 DTP-N A2-kits. It also includes DTP-N cyber security and data support for DTP-N full-rate production, which supports implementation of anti-surface warfare capability in the F/A-18E/F and EA-18G aircraft.
The contracted work will be performed in St. Louis, Missouri, and is expected to be completed in September 2025.
The Navy is obligating the full $33.9 million in Fiscal Year 2023 Aircraft Procurement funds at the time of the award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The U.S. Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
