RENTON, Wash. -- Boeing Commercial Airplanes recorded orders for 31 aircraft in the month of July. Korean Air ordered 10 787-9s and 10 787-10s. Qatar Airways ordered five 777Fs. China Airlines ordered three 777Fs. Unidentified customers ordered two 777-300ERs and one 787-8.

Boeing Commercial Airplanes delivered a total of 19 aircraft during July. This total includes two 737-800As, one 767-2C, two 767-300Fs, two 777Fs, two 787-8s, nine 787-9s, and one 787-10.

In the first seven months of 2019, Boeing garnered 139 orders. The company delivered 258 aircraft.

As of July 31, 2019, the order backlog for Boeing Commercial Airplanes totaled 5,745. Unfilled orders broken down by aircraft type were as follows: 4,599 for the 737, 20 for the 747, 96 for the 767, 439 for the 777, and 591 for the 787.

The backlog at the end of July 2019 represents an increase compared to the backlog at the end of the previous month (June), which had totaled 5,733. Both figures are decreases compared to the company's yearend-2018 order backlog of 5,951.
