CAIRO -- Forces loyal to the Libyan government based in Tobruk have launched air strikes on an opposition controlled unmanned air vehicle (UAV) facility. The Libyan National Army is involved in an offensive targeting Tripoli. The opposition Government of national Accord (GNA) is located in Tripoli.
Libyan Air Force fighters attacked this facility near Zuwarah International Airport on August 15. This facility is the control center for UAVs that are operated by the Tripoli-based government. The LNA says that foreign mercenaries are located at this airport.
