PATUXENT RIVER, Md. -- The U.S. Navy, on behalf of itself and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customer Australia, awarded BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems of Nashua, New Hampshire, a $13.6 million modification (P00010) to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N0001919C0052) to exercise an option in support of the OE-120B/UPX Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) Antenna program. The equipment includes: five OE-120B antenna groups, three retrofit kits, three installation and checkout kits, and one delta installation and checkout kit for the Navy; and one OE-120B antenna group and one retrofit kit for the government of Australia.
The contracted work will be performed in Nashua, New Hampshire, and is expected to be completed in May 2024.
The Navy is obligating $6.2 million in Fiscal Year 2021 Shipbuilding and Conversion, $800,898 in FY21 Other Procurement, $4.1 million in FY20 Shipbuilding and Conversion, and $274,746 in FY19 Other Procurement funds at the time of the award, while Australia is obligating $2.2 million in FMS funds. At the end of the current fiscal year, $274,746 of this funding will expire.
The U.S. Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
