AVIX-BGI SEES ITS U.S. AIR NATIONAL GUARD F-16 WEAPONS SYSTEMS SIMULATOR TRAINING CONTRACT INCREASED
ARLINGTON, Va. -- The U.S. Army awarded Avix-BGI JV II LLC of Yorktown, Virginia, a Department of Defense-designated small business, a $10.9 million modification (P00004) to a previously awarded contract (W9133L-22-C-3007) for weapons systems simulator training and support. The original contract was in support of weapons systems simulator training for the Lockheed Martin F-16 fighter.
The contracted work will be performed in Lackland, Texas; and Tucson, Arizona, with an estimated completion date of December 2, 2027.
At the time of the award, $6.2 million in Fiscal Year 2023 Operations and Maintenance, Air National Guard funds were obligated. The U.S. National Guard Bureau Directorate of Acquisitions, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity.
