SYRACUSE, NY - SRC, Inc., has been awarded a $49.9 million contract by the United States Army for enhancements and maturation of its precision fire control radar (PFCR).
This contract is an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, estimated to run through September of 2025. The PFCR is a low cost, lightweight, air cooled, 3-D active electronically scanned array (AESA) system capable of integrating with a multitude of weapon systems, allowing for widespread usage. It also performs air surveillance and precision tracking simultaneously and is multi-mission capable, operating on the move and at the halt and protecting warfighters in a variety of environments.
