SRC RECEIVES U.S. ARMY ORDER FOR PRECISION FIRE CONTROL RADAR (PFCR)
NEWARK, N.J. -- The U.S. Army awarded SRC Inc. of North Syracuse, New York, a $50.0 million firm-fixed-price contract (W15QKN-22-D-0005) for procurement of a Precision Fire Control Radar (PFCR). Bids were solicited via the internet and one was received.
The PFCR is an X-band, AESA-equipped, land-based fire control radar. It can be deployed in vehicle mounted on-the-move or fixed configurations, where it is capable of performing air surveillance, BMD, C-UAS, counterfire target acquisition, directed energy cueing, fire control, SHORAD, M-SHORAD, and V-SHORAD missions. The radar can be integrated into AFATDS, ASTERIX, FAAD C2, IBCS, MAFIA/MAS, and TCUT setups.
Locations for work under the contract, as well as funding will be determined with each order. However, the contract carries estimated completion date of September 16, 2025.
