U.S. ARMY AND EGYPT ORDER M-DSA KITS AND SPARES FOR AH-64 APACHES
REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. -- The U.S. Army, on behalf of itself and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customer Egypt, awarded Lockheed Martin Corp. of Orlando, Florida, a $22.1 million modification (P00001) to a previously awarded contract (W58RGZ-22-F-0130) to procure Modernized - Day Sensor Assembly (M-DSA) kits and spares for its AH-64 Apache helicopters.
The contracted work will be performed in Orlando, Florida, with an estimated completion date of November 30, 2024.
The Army and Egypt are jointly obligating the full $22.1 million in Fiscal Year 2010 FMS and Army FY21 and FY22 Aircraft Procurement funds at the time of the award. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.
