PAR GOVERNMENT SYSTEMS TO PROVIDE U.S. AIR FORCE INTERFERENCE EMULATION SUITE FOR AIRBORNE NETWORKS
ROME, N.Y. -- The U.S. Air Force awarded PAR Government Systems of Rome, New York, a $10.0 million cost-plus-fixed-fee completion contract (FA8750-20-C-1021) for directional airborne networks for contested environments, hardware, and software. The contract provides for development of an interference emulation suite (IES) to provide the ability for links and networks to be stressed by a variety of interference types, from simple narrow band sources to protocol-aware interferers.
This award is the result of a competitive acquisition and two offers were received.
The contracted work will be performed in Rome, New York, and is expected to be completed September 2024.
The Air Force is obligating $89,052 in Fiscal Year 2020 Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation funds at the time of the award. The U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory in Rome, New York, is the contracting activity.
