ANKARA -- Turkey is developing its first domestic anti-ship missile. Recently, the ATMACA successfully completed a long-distance test launch. The ATMACA flew over 200 kilometers.

The ATMACA entered development in 2009. Turkey signed a deal for mass production with Roketsan in 2018. The missile will soon enter service with the Turkish military. The ATMACA is effective against fixed and moving targets.
