INDIA APPROVES ATTACK DRONE PURCHASE

NEW DELHI -- The Indian government will purchase additional attack drones from Issrael. The Indian Air Force will acquire 54 HAROP loitering attack drones. The service already has 110 in inventory. The decision to procure the Harop was made at a recent high-level meeting at the Indian Ministry of Defence (MoD).

India is also discussing Project Cheetah. India is working with Israel on this project. In addition, India is developing indigenous combat drones.
