ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL, Ill. - Longbow of Orlando, Fla. was awarded a $116.7-million, firm-fixed-price, undefinitized foreign military sales contract (#W52P1J-16-C-0042) by the U.S. Army Contracting Command to support an Indian military acquisition.
Under the terms of the contract, Longbow will supply India with APG-78 Longbow fire control radar systems and support the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter project office. Work will be performed in Linthicum, Md. and Orlando, Fla. with an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2021.
To fund the contract, U.S. Army Fiscal Year 2016 Other Procurement funds of $57.2 million were obligated at the time of the award. Under the bidding process, one bid was solicited and one was received.
