TAIPEI -- Taiwan has conducted another flight of its domestically designed Teng Yun 2 unmanned air vehicle (UAV). The UAV flew more than 10 hours and circling Taiwan's air defense identification zone (ADIZ). This is the longest flight of an indigenous developed UAV.
The UAV was developed by the Chungshan Institute of Science and Technology (CSIST). The Teng Yun 2 is designed to complement UAVs acquired from the United States. Testing of this Taiwanese UAV will be completed by the end of 2022.
