U.S. AIR FORCE AWARDS UTAS $22.9M TO PROVIDE FMS PARTNER NATIONS ORDERING VEHICLE FOR DB-110 POD
WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- The U.S. Air Force has awarded UTAS, a division of Goodrich of Westford, Mass., an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (FA8620-18-D-3014) with an initial ceiling of $22.9 million, predominately firm-fixed-price. The contract provides U.S. Foreign Military Sales (FMS) partner nations an ordering vehicle for the DB-110 Tactical Reconnaissance Pod program, including procurement of DB-110 reconnaissance pods, program infrastructure, airborne data link terminals, surface terminal equipment, fixed ground stations, transportable ground stations, and data and travel in support of orders. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition and is 100 percent FMS funded.
The contract work will be performed in Westford, Mass. The ordering period is from contract award to December 31, 2018, with the period of performance determined on each delivery order.
The U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
