AMSTERDAM - Offshore hoist operator Helicopter Travel Munich (HTM) has signed for one Airbus Helicopters H145. The new aircraft is scheduled to be delivered in December 2017, and will be operated from HTM bases in Emden, Norden, Borkum, and Helgoland, serving offshore windfarms in the German Bight. The H145 will join HTM's fleet of Airbus Helicopters-built rotorcraft, which includes 11 H135 series aircraft.

"Since 2009, when we started offshore wind operations with H135, we have found Airbus Helicopters to be a very reliable partner and we are happy to continue this partnership with the H145," said Bernd Brucherseifer, HTM Managing Director. "We believe the H145 is the right helicopter to respond to the increasing demand for hoisting helicopters with larger transport capacity and dual pilot operation, especially for windfarms increasingly further out to sea."
