A lifelong world military and economics enthusiast, Matthew Beres is currently the analyst for Forecast International's Airborne Retrofit & Modernization Forecast. Matthew previously served as a research assistant for FI, and continues to maintain the company's Military Aircraft Inventories database. Immediately following graduation from college, Matthew worked as a member of the Research Faculty at the University of Colorado Boulder Natural Hazards Center, where he was tasked with coding and analysis of the university's share of a DoD-funded Study on Terrorism and the Response to Terrorism (START). He then served as the Executive Director for the Student Emergency Medical Services Foundation, a nonprofit that mitigated risks associated with binge drinking on college campuses through research-based development of peer-to-peer education, and direct emergency medical intervention. Moving into the for-profit world, Matthew utilized his business acumen and research skills as Director of Operations for Research Associates of Newtown, Connecticut. In this position, he investigated emerging recruitment markets for sales penetration. Matthew also previously served as an advisor to the United States government.
