Boeing Commercial Airplanes delivered 27 aircraft during September. This total included 15 737 MAXs, two 777Fs, one 787-8, six 787-9s, and three 787-10s.
In the first nine months of 2023, Boeing garnered 848 orders. The company delivered 371 aircraft.
As of September 30, 2023, Boeing Commercial Airplanes had unfilled orders for 5,783 aircraft. Unfilled orders broken down by aircraft type were as follows: 4,504 for the 737, 104 for the 767, 429 for the 777, and 746 for the 787. It should be noted that Boeing's official backlog was somewhat lower, due to accounting adjustments that resulted in the removal of some unfilled orders from the official backlog.
The unfilled orders total at the end of September 2023 represents an increase compared to the total at the end of August 2023, which was 5,596. Both figures are increases compared to the company's yearend-2022 unfilled orders total of 5,430.
