September Order/Delivery Results for Airbus

TOULOUSE, France -- Airbus recorded orders for 23 aircraft in the month of September. LATAM Airlines Group ordered 13 A321neos. Turkish Airlines ordered 10 A350-900s.

Airbus delivered a total of 55 aircraft during September. This total included four A220-300s, one A319neo, 23 A320neos, 20 A321neos, two A330-900s, and five A350-900s.

In the first nine months of 2023, Airbus garnered 1,280 orders. Net orders for the period totaled 1,241, due to 39 cancellations. Airbus delivered 488 aircraft in the first nine months of 2023.

As of September 30, 2023, Airbus had unfilled orders for 7,992 aircraft. The unfilled orders broken down by aircraft type were as follows: 519 for the A220, two for the A319ceo, 45 for the A319neo, 11 for the A320ceo, 2,420 for the A320neo, seven for the A321ceo, 4,269 for the A321neo, 230 for the A330, and 489 for the A350.

The order backlog at the end of September 2023 represents a decrease compared to the backlog at the end of August 2023, which had totaled 8,024. Both figures are increases compared to the company's yearend-2022 order backlog of 7,239.
