Airbus delivered a total of 54 aircraft during April. This total included six A220-300s, one A319neo, 17 A320neos, 24 A321neos, two A330-900s, and four A350-900s.
In the first four months of 2023, Airbus garnered 161 orders. Net orders for the period totaled 144, due to 17 cancellations. Airbus delivered 181 aircraft in the first four months of 2023.
As of April 30, 2023, Airbus had unfilled orders for 7,202 aircraft. The unfilled orders broken down by aircraft type were as follows: 523 for the A220, two for the A319ceo, 79 for the A319neo, 11 for the A320ceo, 2,282 for the A320neo, seven for the A321ceo, 3,653 for the A321neo, 208 for the A330, and 437 for the A350.
The order backlog at the end of April 2023 represents a decrease compared to the backlog at the end of March 2023, which had totaled 7,254. It is also a decrease compared to the company's yearend-2022 order backlog of 7,239.
