11 Chinese Airlines Are Flying the 737 MAX Again, Says Boeing
Tuesday April 11, 2023
BEIJING - Boeing says that 11 Chinese airlines have returned their 737 MAXs to service. The company said in a social media post on its official WeChat account that 43 aircraft are flying again across the fleets of these airlines, or about 45% of the Chinese 737 MAX fleet.

China is the last major market to resume flying the MAX after the aircraft was grounded after two fatal accidents years ago. Boeing continues to have a number of 737 MAX aircraft in storage awaiting delivery to Chinese customers.

Boeing says it has upgraded its flight training facility in Shanghai to help train pilots on the MAX family.
