SEOUL - Responding to the growing threat from North Korea, the South Korean government wants to develop another long-range surface-to-surface missile. South Korea could develop the "Hyunmoo IV" surface-to-surface missile, which will be powerful enough to destroy North Korea's underground military facilities and command center.

Seoul already has members of the Hyunmoo-class in service.
