GENEVA, Switzerland - Rockwell Collins' Venue cabin management and HD entertainment system has been selected for installation in a Boeing Business Jet (BBJ).

The updated BBJ cabin will feature HD monitors and digital audio throughout the aircraft for watching Blu-Ray movies and other high-resolution content, such as real-time flight information from Rockwell Collins' Airshow 3-D Moving Map. Such features are built upon a fault-tolerant, ruggedized fiber-optic backbone, which insures maximum system availability while providing necessary bandwidth to integrate the latest consumer technologies, says the company.

Once fielded, the aircraft will be supported 24/7 by the Rockwell Collins customer service team, which has over 2,000 staff and technicians operating from 46 service bases worldwide.
