NIGERIAN AND FRENCH NAVIES PARTICIPATE IN JOINT MARITIME TRAINING

LAGOS, Nigeria - French Navy warships arrived in Nigeria on June 19 to begin a joint maritime training effort with the Nigerian Navy. The purpose of the training is to help strengthen the Nigerian Navy's control of Africa's west coast against piracy and sea crimes.
