Forecast International is a premier provider of market intelligence, forecasting, proprietary research and consulting services for the worldwide aerospace, defense, electronics and power systems industries. Founded in 1973 by Edward M. Nebinger, a retired colonel who flew fighter missions in World War II and the Korean War, Forecast International Inc. (FI) is a privately owned small business that is headquartered in Newtown, Connecticut in the United States. Approximately half of the company's 50 employees are highly experienced market analysts, each of whom specializes in one or more areas of the world Aerospace, Defense, Electronics, or Power Systems sectors. The remainder of the staff is dedicated to various support functions. In addition, the company draws upon a network of off-site independent industry consultants, and also employs additional editorial staffers working throughout the world.

For more than 30 years, Ray has performed in a variety of analytical roles for Forecast International. He contributed to the establishment of Airborne Electronics Forecast and was directly responsible for creating both the Airborne Retrofit & Modernization Forecast and the Space Systems Forecast publications. He is currently the analyst for the Business Rotorcraft Transactions & Evaluation Guide as well as the Business Aircraft Transactions & Evaluation Guide. As Forecast International's Vice President, Research & Editorial Services, he manages the output of all Forecast International analysts and is responsible for the timely publication of all company subscription services. He has represented Forecast International at numerous international air shows and conventions, including the Farnborough Air Show, annual NBAA conventions, the White House Conference on the Commercialization of Space, and the International Space Conference and Exposition.

A lifelong aviation enthusiast, Douglas Royce is currently co-editor of four of Forecast International's Market Intelligence Services: Civil Aircraft Forecast, Military Aircraft Forecast, Rotorcraft Forecast, and Aviation Gas Turbine Forecast. As such, he plays a key role in many important projects that involve market sizing and forecasting for various segments of the world aerospace industry, as well as demand for related systems. He is also a major contributor to Forecast International's twice-weekly E-Market Alert email newsletters.

Previous to his present assignments, Doug served as the primary analyst responsible for a major modernization and updating of the company's extensive Worldwide Military Aircraft Inventories database, which is considered by many industry participants to be the best source of its kind available today. Broadly educated, Doug is exceptionally well informed on international geopolitical and economic affairs and, prior to his present assignment, leveraged this knowledge as editor of International Military Markets, North America, as well as co-editor of U.S. Defense Budget Forecast. As an analyst, Bill provides market intelligence, forward-looking strategic analysis, and demand forecasts for three Forecast International products: Space Systems Forecast - Launch Vehicles & Manned Platforms, Space Systems Forecast - Satellites & Spacecraft, and International Military Markets - Latin America & Caribbean. For all three services, Bill combines qualitative and quantitative data to assess market conditions, draw conclusions, and provide detailed forecasts. Bill previously served as FI's Radar analyst, with a focus on the defense market. In this capacity, Bill prepared market intelligence reports for FI's Electronic Warfare Forecast, Airborne Electronics Forecast, Land & Sea-Based Electronics Forecast, AN Equipment Forecast, Electro-Optical Systems Forecast, and Radar Forecast.

A lifelong world military and economics enthusiast, Matthew Beres is currently the analyst for Forecast International's Airborne Retrofit & Modernization Forecast. Matthew previously served as a research assistant for FI, and continues to maintain the company's Military Aircraft Inventories database. Immediately following graduation from college, Matthew worked as a member of the Research Faculty at the University of Colorado Boulder Natural Hazards Center, where he was tasked with coding and analysis of the university's share of a DoD-funded Study on Terrorism and the Response to Terrorism (START). He then served as the Executive Director for the Student Emergency Medical Services Foundation, a nonprofit that mitigated risks associated with binge drinking on college campuses through research-based development of peer-to-peer education, and direct emergency medical intervention. Moving into the for-profit world, Matthew utilized his business acumen and research skills as Director of Operations for Research Associates of Newtown, Connecticut. In this position, he investigated emerging recruitment markets for sales penetration. Matthew also formerly served with the U.S. Army Reserve as a special operations team chief and staff-level senior logistics officer.
