RUSSIAN FRIGATE ADMIRAL GORSHKOV PERFORMS ANOTHER TEST FIRING WITH A HYPERSONIC ZIRCON MISSILE

MOSCOW -- The crew of the Russian Navy frigate of the Northern Fleet Admiral Gorshkov, as part of the completion of the test cycle of hypersonic missile weapons, has fired another Zircon missile.

The missile was launched from the White Sea at a marine target position located at a distance of more than 400 kilometers.

According to objective control data, the flight of the hypersonic missile corresponded to the specified parameters. Firing from the frigate Admiral Gorshkov was recognized as successful, the target was hit.

Surface ships and naval aviation of the Northern Fleet were involved in providing firing and closing the area.

The previous test firing at a naval target position was successfully carried out by the crew of this frigate two weeks ago.
