$3.1 BILLION! RAYTHEON TECHNOLOGIES TO PROVIDE U.S. AIR FORCE F-15S WITH UPGRADED APG-82 RADARS
WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- The U.S. Air Force awarded Raytheon Technologies of El Segundo, California, a $3.120 billion indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (FA8634-21-D-2707) for F-15 Radar Eagle Vision. Under the contract, Raytheon will provide production, modernization, and support of the F-15's APG-82 radar, rapidly delivering and staying aligned with the F-15 weapon system program. This contract is the result of a sole-source acquisition.
This contract also provides for potential Foreign Military Sales (FMS) delivery orders, but does allow for future FMS participation.
The contracted work will be performed in El Segundo, California, and is expected to be completed June 8, 2036.
The Air Force is obligating $471,662 in Fiscal Year 2021 Aircraft Procurement funds at the time of the award. The F-15 Division Contracts Branch, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
