SEOUL -- South Korea will mass produce new tactical ground-based ballistic missiles. This weapon is designed to destroy underground artillery bases in North Korea.
Seoul will acquire more than 200 Korean Tactical Surface to Surface Missiles (KTSSMs) by 2025. Developed costs 450 billion won ($406.14 million) project. South Korea will allocate 320 million won to mass produce this missile.
The ballistic missile has a range of around 120 kilometers. This weapon is to be operational around 2022.
