MOSCOW -- The Russian government claims its SSC-X-9 Burevestnik (Skyfall) missile will be ready for service in six years. Moscow says this missile has "unlimited range" and capable of finding gaps in air defense systems. This program will move forward dispute recent unsuccessful tests.

Russian President Vladimir Putin first acknowledged the existence of this "nuclear-powered" strike missile in March 2018.
