HODEIDAH -- Houthi rebels in Yemen are using ballistic missiles to defend their positions around the port city of Hodeidah. Yemeni government forces, support by Saudi Arabia and other foreign allies, are moving closer to capturing this vital rebel supply link.
The rebels fired the missile from the Salif District, but it missed the city and fell into the Red Sea. Yemeni government officials say the Houthi rebels are suffering heavy casualties around Hodeidah.
Iran is reportedly providing support to the Houthi rebels, inclulding the delivery of ballistic missiles.
