U.S. NAVY AWARDS TOTE SERVICES SEA-BASED X-BAND RADAR O&M CONTRACT
NORFOLK, Va. -- The U.S. Navy has awarded TOTE Services of Jacksonville, Fla., an $11.1 million firm-fixed-price contract (N32205-18-3101) for the operation and maintenance of the Sea-Based X-Band Radar (SBX-1). Included in the contract are one 12-month base period, four 12-month option periods, and a six-month option which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $65.3 million. This contract was issued on a full and open competition basis, with five offers received.
The contracted work will be performed at sea worldwide and is expected to be completed September 30, 2019. However, if all options are exercised, work will continue through March 31, 2024.
Subject to availability of funds, U.S. Navy Working Capital funds will be allocated to this contract. The U.S. Navy Military Sealift Command, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity for this award.
