INTERNATIONAL ENTERPRISES TO REPAIR REDESIGNED MULTIPURPOSE COLOR DISPLAYS FOR U.S. NAVY F/A-18S
PHILADELPHIA -- The U.S. Navy has awarded International Enterprises of Talladega, Ala., an $8.5 million firm-fixed-price delivery order (N00383-18-F-A20F) under a previously awarded basic ordering agreement (N00383-17-G-A201) for the repair of the multipurpose color display redesign displays in support of the F/A-18 aircraft. One company was solicited for this sole-source requirement in accordance with 10 U.S. Code 2304(c)(1), with one offer received.
The contracted work will be performed in Talladega, Ala., and work is expected to be completed by August 2019.
The Navy has obligated the full $8.5 million in Fiscal Year 2018 Working Capital funds at the time of the award, and the funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The U.S. Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support in Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity.
