GEORGETOWN, KY. -- Unmanned air vehicles (UAVs) are supporting the Georgetown Police Department. The UAVs are helping to track lost citizens, fleeing suspects and find stolen vehicles. The GPD purchased the UAVs with seized drug funds in April 2017. The UAV is from Atlanta-based Skyfire Consulting.

The Georgetown Police Department will make its UAV unit available to other departments.
