USAF AWARDS BOEING $5.2M MODIFICATION TO F-15 APG-63(V)3 RADAR IMPROVEMENT CONTRACT
WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- The U.S. Air Force has awarded Boeing of St. Louis, Mo., a fixed-price-incentive-firm $9.8 million target price, $11.2 million ceiling, cost-plus-fixed-fee $5.2 million modification (#P00055) to a previously awarded contract (FA8634-16-C-2653) for the F-15 Combined APG-63(V)3 Radar Improvement program. Raytheon is the manufacturer of the APG-63(V)3 radar. The contract modification provides for the installation of 46 Group A kits and the associated travel.
The contracted work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo., and is expected to be completed by June 5, 2021.
The Air Force is obligating Fiscal Year 2016 and 2018 Procurement funds at the time of the award, raising the total cumulative face value of the contract to $1,349.3 million. The U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Fighter/Bomber Directorate, F-15 Division at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
