OBRITAL ATK WINS LOT 7 AARGM PRODUCTION CONTRACT

WASHINGTON -- Orbital ATK has won a $171.2 million contract from the U.S. Navy for Lot 7 production of the Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile (AARGM). This is award includes units and services for foreign military sales customers.

This is a modification contract that exercises a production option. This option covers the conversion of 271 U.S. Navy AGM-88B High Speed Anti-Radiation Missiles (HARMs) into 253 AGM-88E AARGM all-up-rounds (AURs) and eight Captive Air Training Missiles.

In addition, Orbital ATK will deliver 10 AGM-88E AARGMs to Australia. Work on this contract will be completed in March 2020.

The U.S. plans to procure over 2,000 AARGMs and is working on an extended range version.
