Airbus delivered a total of 46 aircraft during August. This total included one A319ceo, 13 A320ceos, seven A320neos, 13 A321ceos, one A321neo, three A330-300s, seven A350-900s, and one A380.
In the first eight months of 2017, Airbus garnered 264 orders. The company delivered 399 aircraft.
As of August 31, 2017, the order backlog for Airbus totaled 6,690. Unfilled orders broken down by aircraft type were as follows: 25 for the A319ceo, 51 for the A319neo, 230 for the A320ceo, 3,550 for the A320neo, 241 for the A321ceo, 1,423 for the A321neo, 327 for the A330, 741 for the A350, and 102 for the A380.
The overall backlog at the end of August 2017 represents a decrease compared to the backlog at the end of July 2017, which had totaled 6,726. Both figures are decreases compared to the company's yearend-2016 order backlog of 6,874.
