ANKARA - President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Turkey has already given Russia a deposit for the purchase of S-400 surface-to-air missile (SAM) systems. Erdogan said Turkey has signed an agreement for the acquisition of S-400s. Turkey's NATO allies oppose this deal.

The S-400s will not be integrated with NATO air defense radar systems.
