TURKEY TO DEPLOY EXPENDABLE ATTACK DRONES

ANKARA - The Turkish armed force will soon receive new attack drones. Turkey's Defense Technologies Engineering (STM) developed these unmanned air vehicles (UAVs). Mass production has begun and this attack drone will soon be operational.

Turkey is working on three models: the fixed-wing ALPAGU; and two KARGU and TOGAN rotating-wing strike drones. The ALPAGU weighs 3.7 kg and can be operated by a single soldier.
