U.S. NAVY SCANEAGLE UAV'S TO RECEIVE EO/IR IMAGERY ISR SERVICES FROM INSITU
PATUXENT RIVER, Md. - The U.S. Navy has awarded Insitu of Bingen, Wash., a $9.8 million firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-17-C-0087) to provide unmanned aircraft systems intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance services in support of maritime operations. Specifically, this includes operations and maintenance of the ScanEagle unmanned aircraft systems and its real-time electro-optical imagery and infrared imagery. This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1.
The contract work will be performed in the Pacific theater and is expected to be completed in March 2021.
The U.S. Navy has obligated the full contract amount in Fiscal Year 2017 Operations and Maintenance funds at the time of the award, all of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity
