MOSCOW - Russian Deputy Defense Minister Yuri Borisov and Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu discussed some of the recent deliveries to the Russian military on July 26, 2017.
According to the Deputy Defense Minister, in the last few months, "Two naval aircraft Sukhoi-30SM, more than 60 cruise missiles Kalibr and 42 torpedoes were provided for the Navy."
He noted that the Navy had commissioned a new Project 20380 corvette, Sovershenny, earlier in July.
The Deputy Defense Minister continued, "On the acceptance list there are also three submarines, which have undergone repairs in docks, two raider boats, a pier of project 15163 and a large antisabotage boat."
Eleven jets and six helicopters have been delivered to the military. Furthermore, the military received an Iskander-M ballistic missile system set.
Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu discussed the recent deliveries too, noting that from May to June, "Over this period, defense industry enterprises have supplied more than 600 new and 300 repaired weapons, military and special equipment" for the military.
"As for today, the state defense order for modern weapons has been implemented by 34.2 percent, while [state order] for repairs -- by 42.2 percent, and it indicates a satisfactory rate of production of defense industry enterprises," the defense minister added.
