ALVERCA, Portugal - Embraer ahs selected its Portuguese subsidiary OGMA to supply several structural components for the wing and empennage of the new E175-E2, E190-E2, and E195-E2 jetliners.
Ana Isabel Fernandes, OGMA Vice President for the Aerostructures Business Area, said, "These contracts address the strategic course outlined to reinforce significantly the Aerostructures Business Area contribution to OGMA's overall performance. We have been investing in new infrastructures, new machinery, and in the training of our team in order to ensure the best possible answer to our clients in the shortest time possible and with the maximum quality. The supply agreement with Embraer entails medium- and long-term component manufacturing. The components to be manufactured by OGMA for the wing box for all three E2 models and the horizontal stabilizer and flap for the E175-E2.
