BOC AVIATION PLACES $200 MILLION ORDER WITH CFM

SINGAPORE - BOC Aviation has selected CFM International CFM56-5B engines to power 10 new Airbus A320ceo aircraft. The order is valued at $200 million U.S. at list price. The airplane order was announced in July 2014.

CFM has orders for nearly 4,000 CFM56; many of which were placed since the launch of the Leap engine. The company has stated it intends to switch all production to the Leap in 2019.
