FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Woodward Inc signed an agreement with Boeing Commercial Airplanes to supply the Thrust Reverser Actuation System (TRAS) for the new Boeing 777X airliner.
The Woodward TRAS provides safety-critical aircraft deceleration on landing. Other Boeing programs utilizing the Woodward TRAS include the 747-8, the 777, the Next-Generation 737, and the 737 MAX.

"Their performance on current programs and their support of customer affordability requirements underscores the value they will provide Boeing for the future."
