PARIS AIR SHOW - The Lufthansa Group signed a final contract for 100 A320 family aircraft (35 A320neos, 35 A321neos, and 30 A320ceos with sharklets) at the Paris International Airshow in Le Bourget, France.

The Lufthansa Group has been operating the A320 family since October 1989. The airline was the launch customer for the A321model, the family's highest-capacity model, and was one of the first operators of the A319 and A320. Lufthansa is the largest Airbus airline customer and operator in Europe, and the new order will increase its total orders for A320 family aircraft to 299. The airline has taken delivery of over 150 A320 family aircraft to date.

The A320neo will enter into service from late 2015, followed by the A319neo and A321neo in 2016.
