LAI INTERNATIONAL SIGNS $127 MILLION ENGINE COMPONENT CONTRACT WITH PRATT & WHITNEY

EAST HARTFORD, Conn. - LAI International, Inc has signed a 15-year agreement valued at more than $127 million with Pratt & Whitney. Under the agreement, LAI International, Inc. will provide parts for Pratt & Whitney's next generation engine programs, including the fan blade sheath for the PurePower engines for the Bombardier CSeries aircraft, Airbus A320neo aircraft, and Irkut MC-21 aircraft.

Pratt & Whitney expects to more than double production by the end of the decade. In preparation for the ramp, Pratt & Whitney is investing heavily in its global manufacturing network and bringing on suppliers who can deliver high-quality parts and materials.
