OREGON, Ohio - Siemens has won an order to provide equipment for a new gas-fired power plant in Oregon, Ohio. The Oregon Clean Energy Center's site will have an 869MW H-class combined-cycle power plant, and Siemens will provide engineering services and ongoing service under a long-term service and maintenance agreement. Siemens will also deliver two SGT6-8000H turbines, one SST6-5000 steam turbine, three SGen6-2000H generators, two heat recovery steam generators, along with other electrical and mechanical equipment. The new plant is scheduled to come on line by the summer 2017.
