BISHKEK - President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev met with Alexei Miller, Chairman of the Board of Gazprom.

During the meeting the sides discussed Gazprom's activities in Kyrgyzstan in ensuring the energy security of the country.

Miller explained in detail about the plans of Gazprom for development of the energy sector of Kyrgyzstan. Gazprom will supply up to 100 million cubic meters of natural gas to the Bishkek combined heat and power plant at $165 for 1,000 cubic meters plus additional fees for transportation costs to the plant.
