NAGOYA, Japan - Mitsubishi rolled out its new MRJ regional jet at the factory in Nagoya, Japan marking the appearance of the third application for Pratt's geared turbofan. Pratt's PW1200G series will power the MRJ70 and MRJ90 aircraft, with five aircraft taking part in the fight test program. Certification is expected in the second quarter of 2017. The second and third test aircraft are currently in final assembly.
