SAVANNAH, Ga. - In a ceremony at the Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition in Shanghai, Gulfstream and the Chinese firm Minsheng Financial Leasing Company Ltd marked the latter's order for up to 60 Gulfstream aircraft. The deal, which had been signed in the fourth quarter of 2013, involves a combination of firm orders and options.

The sale spans the Gulfstream product line, and includes the super mid-size G280, the long-range G450, the ultra-long-range G550, and the ultra-large-cabin, ultra-long-range G650.

Gulfstream president Larry Flynn said, "Thanks to the breadth of the Gulfstream aircraft family, we have the products that match the needs of Minsheng's customers. Minsheng has quickly become the largest fleet owner in China and has been a leading visionary in the business aviation market. We are thrilled with Minsheng's confidence in Gulfstream and look forward to working with the company throughout the delivery process and beyond."

Minsheng was formed in April 2008 by China Minsheng Banking Corp and Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone Investment. It was one of the first leasing companies to receive approval to operate from the China Banking Regulatory Commission.

"Minsheng has enjoyed a long and successful relationship with Gulfstream," said Johnny Lau, vice president of Minsheng's Aviation Leasing Division. "The Gulfstream products combine reliability, performance, comfort, and efficiency to provide a world-class flying experience for our customers. In addition, Gulfstream's high-standard product support was a major contributor to our decision to move forward with this agreement."
