The NORINCO Type 88 (PLZ45) continues to hold its first place ranking in terms of production during the forecast period. The Type 88 (PLZ45) will account for 35.43 percent of self-propelled howitzer production worldwide, worth 42.87 percent of the international market, through 2024.
The Motovilikha 2S31 Vena and the Uraltransmash 2S19 Msta S continue occupy second and third places, respectively, in our market share outlook during the forecast period. Combined production of these two Russian self-propelled artillery systems will account for 30.8 percent of all new production, worth 21.39 percent of the international market, through 2024.
